Jonathan Majors is beaming with gratitude for his new wife, Meagan Good, following the revelation of their surprise marriage.

Before the news broke, the Creed III star sat down with Extra to reflect on how Good and his family have been his lifeline amid a turbulent year of legal battles and career setbacks.

“Meagan, my family, my incoming in-laws—it’s really been great,” Majors said. “I’m not from here. I came out here for her, so we could try this thing out… in the midst of all of it. And her family just… Come on, you know, we love her. She loves you. Come on.”

His words underscored the support system that’s kept him grounded. “It kept me alive,” he added earnestly. “There’s no hyperbole there.”

The couple’s union was quietly sealed on Tuesday, March 18, in an intimate ceremony at their Los Angeles home, officiated by Majors’ mother, a pastor, with Good’s mother as the witness.

Majors let the news slip during an ET interview, briefly calling Good his “wife” before correcting to “fiancée.” Sources later confirmed the nuptials to the outlet.

Majors’ praise for Good comes against the backdrop of a challenging chapter. In December 2023, a Manhattan jury convicted him of misdemeanor assault and harassment following a high-profile trial over an altercation with ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari.

Good stood by him throughout, a constant presence as he was sentenced in April 2024 to a 52-week domestic violence program and issued a protective order for Jabbari.

A related defamation and assault lawsuit from Jabbari settled in November 2024, resurfaced this week with Rolling Stone releasing a 2022 audio of Majors admitting to strangling her and pushing her against a car. He’s yet to address the recording publicly, instead focusing on his appreciation for Good.

“When I say the three things I care about most in life are God, family, and art… that’s all I need,” he told Extra. “And Meagan is the champion of that.”

In a separate USA Today interview, he expanded on the support from peers like Michael B. Jordan, who’s expressed interest in reuniting with his Creed III co-star, and Matthew McConaughey.

“This industry is wild, man, with brave human beings who can look at something for its wholeness and take the crookeds with the straights,” Majors said, quoting August Wilson. “To be in community with them means a lot.”

He also shouted out Whoopi Goldberg, an EGOT winner and family friend. “To have them use their voices and platforms to reach back and go, ‘We see you, brother,’… it means a lot,” he said.

Despite losing roles, including his Marvel Cinematic Universe gig as Kang the Conqueror, Majors remains buoyed by love and loyalty—chief among them, his new bride.
