According to reports, a court threatened to put Jeezy in jail if he didn’t follow all terms of his divorce agreement with Jeannie Mai.

The Atlanta rapper showed up in court on Monday, April 28, and the judge determined that he had “willfully failed” to provide his ex-wife the title of a 2021 Range Rover, according to a report from In Touch Weekly.

In addition, the outlet stated that the judge “warned that future failure to comply with the court’s order may result in sanctions, which he said could be in the form of incarceration,” and rejected Jeezy’s attempt to collect legal fees from Jeannie.

Despite accusations of domestic abuse and gatekeeping their daughter, the former couple’s divorce, which was finalized last summer, has not been amicable.

A few months after it concluded, Mai filed documents alleging that Jeezy had not complied with the terms of the settlement.

This includes not covering four months’ worth of rent, transferring the ownership of two cars to Mai, depositing $500k in an account for her, or paying daycare expenses for their kid.

He retaliated by claiming that he had a “hard time” verifying the validity of the lease papers Jeannie gave his staff and that she was attempting to “embarrass, humiliate, and disparage” him by giving the media access to specifics of their problems.

Additionally, he asserted that one of the vehicles had been destroyed by an “act of God” and that the DMV had been tardy in transferring the titles.

He then demanded that his ex reimburse him for the $20,000 in legal bills he had paid for “defending himself,” which was the primary reason for this week’s court appearance; all other matters have allegedly since been resolved.
