The woman who once accused rapper JAY-Z of rape has asked a court to dismiss his defamation lawsuit against her.

She had earlier claimed that JAY-Z and Diddy raped her when she was 13. But after several inconsistencies were found in her story, she withdrew the case.

Following her withdrawal, JAY-Z filed a defamation suit, saying the woman and her lawyer, Tony Buzbee, damaged his name by making false claims.

In a new filing, the woman is asking a judge to throw out JAY-Z’s case. She argues that her original rape claims were made in legal documents, which are protected under the law. She also says that an interview she gave to NBC was based only on the contents of those legal filings.

JAY-Z and his legal team have not yet responded to this motion.

Buzbee had earlier filed a similar motion, saying that both parties had agreed to resolve the issue in February.

According to him, the agreement involved both sides withdrawing their cases and ending any further legal action.

JAY-Z’s lawyer denied any such agreement existed. He claimed the woman dropped her lawsuit because the accusations were false and she could not stand in court. He said there was no deal to settle anything and that her case simply fell apart.

The woman’s lawyer disagrees. He says there was a clear agreement, including email exchanges that laid out the terms.

According to him, they agreed to end the lawsuit, and in return, JAY-Z’s team would stop trying to intimidate the woman and her family.

However, he says JAY-Z broke that agreement by sending investigators to approach the woman’s family after the case was dropped.

The court has not yet ruled on the woman’s request to dismiss the defamation suit. As things stand, both sides continue to argue over what happened behind the scenes
