JAY-Z and Beyoncé have been officially removed from a federal lawsuit that claimed they witnessed a sexual assault at a party allegedly hosted by Sean “Diddy” Combs.

The lawsuit was filed earlier this month by Manzaro Joseph. In the original complaint, Joseph named several celebrities as witnesses, including the Carters, LeBron James, Jacob Arabo, and Gloria and Emilio Estefan. The alleged incident was said to have taken place at the Estefans’ Miami home during a birthday party for Diddy’s son, Christian Combs.

According to TMZ, the lawsuit was amended after JAY-Z’s lawyer, Alex Spiro, provided evidence that proved both JAY-Z and Beyoncé were not in Miami at the time.

Their legal team warned Joseph’s attorneys about making false claims. The couple was then removed from the complaint.

Other celebrities named in the filing remain included but are not being sued, except for Emilio Estefan.

In the lawsuit, Joseph claimed he was drugged, forced to wear a penis-shaped mask, and taken to the party. He said Gloria Estefan noticed his condition and asked for help, but Emilio allegedly stopped her and led her away. Joseph also claimed he saw LeBron James at the event wearing only a towel.

He further alleged that he was taken through a tunnel to Diddy’s mansion by adult film actress Adria English. At that location, he claimed he had encountered JAY-Z and Beyoncé. He also mentioned Jacob Arabo, saying the jeweler reacted to his appearance at the party.

JAY-Z’s legal team denied the claims and said there was public evidence showing he was not in Florida when the incident was said to have occurred. LeBron James’ lawyers also dismissed the accusation, saying he was in Cleveland at the time, playing for the Cavaliers.

Diddy’s lawyers have denied all allegations made by Joseph. The music mogul is currently in custody while facing separate charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering.
