Just one month after the vibrant of The Jackson 5 guitarist Tito Jackson passed away at the age of 70, singer Janet Jackson made her public speaking debut.

Janet sent a brief message on her Instagram Stories, which she shared with a monochromatic picture of the siblings, saying, “May you rest in eternal peace. I really do miss you!

Tito passed away while traveling from New Mexico to Oklahoma from a suspected heart attack, according to Steve Manning, a former manager and close friend of the Jackson family.

“It’s with heavy hearts that we announce that our beloved father, Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Tito Jackson, is no longer with us. We are shocked, saddened, and heartbroken. Our father was an incredible man who cared about everyone and their well-being,” said Tito’s sons TJ, Taj, and Taryll on Instagram as soon as the news came.

“Some of you may know him as Tito Jackson from the legendary Jackson 5, some may know him as ‘Coach Tito’ or some know him as ‘Poppa T.’ Nevertheless, he will be missed tremendously. It will forever be ‘Tito Time’ for us. Please remember to do what our father always preached and that is ‘Love One Another.’ We love you Pops,” the added.

Tito was a crucial member of the Jackson family’s musical empire. In the 1960s, he created The Jackson 5, together with his brothers Michael, Jermaine, Marlon, and Jackie.

Their first track, I Want You Back, went viral right away and peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Their next two successes, ABC and I’ll Be There, also achieved similar success.

In addition, he started a solo career. His 2016 album Tito Time became well-known, especially the song Get It Baby, which debuted on the Billboard Adult R&B Airplay list.

With the passing of their father, Joe Jackson, in 2018 and Michael Jackson in 2009, the Jackson family has suffered many losses throughout the years.
