Music stars Janet Jackson and Q-Tip, although having ended their romance over twenty years ago, appear to still be close.
After meeting on the set of John Singleton’s film Poetic Justice, Q-Tip and Jackson took things further into a romantic relationship.
The two also worked together on the number-one hit song Got ‘Til It’s Gone.
Q-Tip, in a 2021 interview with Math Hoffa, stated, “We started dating after that. It’s swollen as hell. She will be cooking eggs and sh*t, and I will be kicking back and thinking, ‘Yo, that’s Penny!’ She is my absolute favorite, and she is a Jackson, which is black royalty”.
Although they split up in 2002, it appears as though they are still cool.

Indeed, some of Jackson’s followers seem to think that she and her partner are closer than ever and that their romance may have even been reignited, based on one of her most recent social media posts.
Janet Jackson wished Q a happy 54th birthday on Instagram earlier this week. However, a lot of people pointed out that her letter sounded a little flirty.
Furthermore, although the message wasn’t from her official X account with the blue tick, it did imply that they had spent the previous evening together, raising the possibility that they could be back together.
“More than thirty years of friendship are very dear to me. I appreciate you visiting last night. Happy birthday” as the caption for a monochrome picture of Q-Tip read.
