Jamie Foxx has signed a multi-year contract with Fox Entertainment Studios.

The deal will grant the network exclusive access to his unscripted projects and producing skills, as well as first-look rights to scripted television content via Foxx’s Foxxhole Productions banner.

Foxx will start working on the scripted and unscripted projects that are currently in development at Fox Entertainment Studios.

The deal reinforces Foxx’s long-standing affiliation with the network. Foxx and Fox’s long history began in 1991 and lasted until 1994.

The Oscar winner landed his breakthrough role on the network’s sketch comedy series “In Living Colour.” After that, Foxx created and starred in the WB Network series “The Jamie Foxx Show.”

Jamie Foxx went ahead to executive produce the police procedural “Alert: Missing Persons Unit” and hosts the music game show “Beat Shazam” with his daughter Corinne Foxx.

With a versatile personality and talent, when it comes to film, Jamie is best known for his Academy Award-winning portrayal of Ray Charles in “Ray,” “Collateral,” and “Django Unchained,” as well as “Just Mercy” and many more.

He’s also a Grammy-winning musician with hit songs “Blame It” and “Unpredictable.”

A statement from Fernando Szew, president of Fox Entertainment Studios, read:

“We are ready and excited to kick-start this very promising new creative partnership with Jamie as we build on Fox’s long-time association with him, initiated by our CEO Rob Wade and network president Michael Thorn. Jamie is a renowned multifaceted talent, so as a studio, we want to support his tremendous creativity with access to the full scope of our genres, formats, and brands. Together we will deliver unexpected, unforgettable content to audiences everywhere. At Fox Entertainment Studios we are expanding our reach and portfolio, and this is a keystone creative partnership as we build.”
