Fans of Ja Rule may have something to look forward to in 2024, as the rapper has hinted at dropping a new album, which will mark his first in over a decade.

The former Murder Inc. hitmaker, who rose to fame in the late 1990s and early 2000s with hits such as “Always On Time”, “I’m Real”, and “Put It On Me”, took to X (formerly known as Twitter) on Tuesday (January 2) to reveal that he’s in “album mode.”

“In full Album mode… #CWWTST,” he wrote, seemingly teasing an abbreviation for the album title.

The tweet sparked excitement and curiosity among his fans, who have been waiting for new music from the rapper since his last album, Pain Is Love 2, which was released in 2012.

Some of his followers tried to guess what the hashtag meant, with some suggesting “Can’t Wait to See the Show”, “Can’t Wait to See the Streets”, or “Can’t Wait to See the Stars”.

Others expressed their support and anticipation for the new album, saying that they missed his music and that he was one of the best rappers of his era.

It is not clear when the album will be released, or what it will sound like. However, Ja Rule has promised his fans that it will be worth the wait.

Ja Rule has not revealed any more details about his new album, but he has said that he is in full album mode and that he is enjoying the creative process.

Ja Rule has been away from the music scene for a long time, and has faced several challenges and controversies in his career, such as legal troubles, scandals, and feuds.
