UK rapper J Hus will not be travelling to Ghana this December as earlier advertised.

AfroFuture Festival 2023 dropped the bombshell by revealing that J Hus, the acclaimed British-Gambian rapper, will no longer grace the stage at the highly anticipated music extravaganza.

Culture Management Group (CMG), the festival organizers, delivered the disheartening news, leaving fans in dismay.

Originally slated as one of the festival’s headlining acts, J Hus had been set to captivate audiences on Thursday, December 28th, and Friday, December 29th, at the El Wak Sports Stadium in Accra, Ghana. His name glittered alongside other afrobeats luminaries such as Davido and Black Sherif, promising a musical feast for festivalgoers.

The abrupt cancellation has stirred a whirlwind of speculation, as CMG has chosen to keep the reasons under wraps. The hush-hush approach has only fueled the curiosity of fans, who have taken to social media platforms like Twitter and Instagram to voice their discontent. Despite the lack of official explanation, the disappointment among J Hus fans grow by the hour.

Twitter timelines and Instagram feeds have become virtual arenas for fans to express their hopes, with many fervently wishing for a last-minute reversal of the decision.
