Rapper 6ix9ine’s paint-splattered luxury cars have fetched a total of over $260,000 at an auction hosted by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).

The auction, which ended on Tuesday, July 23, saw intense bidding for the distinctive 2019 Lamborghini Urus and 2017 Bentley Continental GT Speed.

The auction began on July 8 with a starting bid of $20,000 for each vehicle. By the end of the bidding, the Lamborghini Urus sold for an impressive $175,043, with 30 bidders vying for the eye-catching vehicle. Meanwhile, the Bentley Continental GT Speed closed at $85,500, with 16 people competing for ownership.

The cars are not merely painted but wrapped with a custom design from TPT Foreigns, an automotive company based in Florida, and then splattered with real paint, creating their unique appearance. The IRS had seized these vehicles, along with other personal items from 6ix9ine’s home in Lake Worth, Florida, as part of an effort to satisfy a legal judgment against the rapper.

This judgment stemmed from a 2021 lawsuit filed by Alexis Salaberrios, an exotic dancer at the Gold Rush Cabaret in Miami. She accused 6ix9ine, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, of hitting her with a champagne bottle, causing significant head injuries. The court ordered 6ix9ine to pay Salaberrios $9,825,000 for her injuries. Despite attempts by his attorney to stop the judgment and the receiver’s appointment, the court ruled against them.

The IRS seized 6ix9ine’s assets to comply with the court’s order. Reports indicate that the seizure occurred shortly after Tax Day, with agents, accompanied by the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office, arriving at his Lake Worth residence. Besides the Lamborghini and Bentley, other items were also taken.

At the time of the seizure, 6ix9ine was reportedly in the Dominican Republic, where he faced additional legal troubles. He was arrested on charges of domestic violence involving his girlfriend, Yailin la Mas Viral. The Department of General Violence is currently investigating the case.

The rapper’s attorney, Lance Lazzaro, stated that 6ix9ine and his team are assessing the situation and plan to issue a statement at the appropriate time. This latest development adds to the controversial artist’s ongoing legal battles and public scrutiny.
