The rapper, whose real name was Dequantes Devontay Lamar, was found dead in his Atlanta home on Thursday, September 5, according to his family. The cause of death remains unknown at this time.

Rich Homie Quan, a prominent figure in the Atlanta music scene, was known for his work in the mid-2010s, particularly his collaborations with fellow rapper Young Thug as part of the Rich Gang collective.
