Here’s Why Tyreek Hill Got Handcuffed Before Dolphins Game

NFL player Tyreek Hill entered the field for the Miami Dolphins on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars only hours after being stopped by police en route to Hard Rock Stadium.

In shocking sights from a trending viral video, cops detained and pinned 30-year-old Hill as he was heading to the stadium.

Shortly before the Miami Dolphins game against the Jacksonville Jaguars at press time, this event occurred in Miami near Hard Rock Stadium.

Even so, there are differing accounts on the subject, and it’s still not quite apparent why Tyreek Hill was taken into custody but in the video that surfaced on Sunday, September 8, he can be seen being yelled at by the police while lying face down on the ground during this detention, which appears to have been related to a traffic violation.

Hill was first issued a ticket for a “moving violation entering the stadium,” according to Drew Rosenhaus, Hill’s agent who spoke with ESPN

“How things escalated into the situation that they were in handcuffs and being on the ground with police is mind-boggling to me. We will be looking into it”, Rosenhaus added.

A few teammates came to help when they saw the situation.

Tyreek, along with every other participant, reached the stadium without incident and was ready to play.

As consolation prize for his detention, Tyreek was able to celebrate a touchdown with his teammates holding his hand behind his back, mimicking his handcuff.
