Here’s The Lineup For The 2025 Sundance Film Festival

BY Dora Abena Dzaka December 16, 2024 6:32 PM EDT

The 2025 Sundance Film Festival will begin just days after the inauguration of President-elect, Donald Trump, from January 23 to February 2.

The festival will not be the usual one but two events that are said to potentially draw eyeballs away from the main programming.

There’ll also be much expectation surrounding the festival’s upcoming announcement about the venue the festival will be moving to, beginning with its 2027 edition.

This year’s festival featured some of the latest projects from Oscar winners, studio filmmakers, and indie stalwarts like Justin Lin, Ira Sachs, Barry Levinson, and Questlove, while the U.S. Dramatic Competition section was made up of selections from directors new to the Park City fest.

The program lineup for the 2025 festival was announced on Wednesday, and it provides the usual mix of fresh talent coupled with some provocative subject matter.
