According to Simone Biles, she was stunned when a Paris nightclub tried to charge her a staggering $26,000 for one bottle of Champagne after the 2024 Olympics. Simone Biles recalled in a TikTok video posted on Monday.

In a TikTok video, the gymnast stated that a club tried to sell her a pricey bottle of champagne when she went out after the closing ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics on August 11.

“We had closing ceremonies at the Olympics, and I went and after that, we went out. This club tried to charge me $26,000 for a bottle of champagne,” she said.

The Olympic gymnast said that she “obviously” did not purchase the overpriced bottle of champagne.

However, the 11-time Olympic medalist expressed her shock at the incident. “Like, are you insane?” she added.

“Why would you even try to play me like that? Like, that’s wild,” she said in the video, noting that the bartender must have noticed who she was. I don’t know sometimes the attention; I’d rather not have it,” she admitted in the video. I’d want to just be as normal as possible.”

Followers in the comment section were also stunned by the price and expressed their opinions as follows:
