Lawyers for Megan Thee Stallion have reportedly sued a YouTuber for allegedly “spreading lies” about the Tory Lanez case.
YouTuber Milagro Gramz is accused of using his social media accounts to spread a viral story about how Tory Lanez had been found innocent after an appeal. But the story turned out to be false.
The lawsuit indicts Gramz for “carrying out a public campaign to “denigrate, belittle, insult, and spread false statements” about Megan Thee Stallion.
It also includes allegations of “cyberstalking, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and invasion of privacy.” Tory Lanez continues to serve his 10-year prison sentence for shooting Meghan in 2022.
Early this month, Megan Thee Stallion disclosed that her new documentary In Her Words would premiere on October 31.
The project by Prime Video is said to offer “unprecedented access” to the behind-the-scenes personality of the celebrated pop star.
Announcing the collaboration, the director of the film, Nneka Onuorah, thanked partners including Amazon MGM Studios, Roc Nation, and TIME Studios, emphasizing that Megan’s story needs to be heard.
“Her raw and beautiful spirit shines through in the film. She is a champion for all women who deserve their truth to be heard,” he said.
According to producers, the documentary intends to highlight, among other things, the “grief, success, fame,” of the Cobra songstress, who had dealt with losing her mother, being a victim of gun violence, and other circumstances but managed to weather the storm.
In September, Megan Thee Stallion partially blew the cover of a man, who fans suspected could be her new boyfriend, when she posted a TikTok video on her page.
The Boa singer, however, deleted the video quickly, probably after realizing the content was not meant for public viewing. Her followers had grabbed the video somewhat, suggesting that the singer had something to do with the NBA player, Torrey Craig.
The now-deleted video showed Meghan lying in bed with the Chicago Bulls star as they both took part in the “most likely challenge, couple’s edition,” taking turns to answer various questions.
