Atlanta-based rapper Gunna has unveiled the tracklist for his highly anticipated album One of Wun. Unlike his solo efforts, this album has guest features, promising an exciting mix of talent and styles.
The 20-track album includes previously released singles Whatsapp (Wassam) and Prada Dem. Notably, Prada Dem features Offset, one-half of the hip-hop duo Migos. Other guest appearances include Roddy Ricch, Normani, and Leon Bridges, adding diverse voices to the album.
One of Wun will be released on Friday, May 10, under Young Thug’s Young Stoner Life Records and 300 Entertainment. The album’s title track, One of Wun, is among the 20 songs, including intriguing titles like Neck on a Yacht, Hakuna Matata, and Time Reveals, Be Careful What You Wish For.
Gunna first announced ‘One of Wun’ in mid-April, sharing the album’s title and cover art. He ramped up the promotional campaign last week by dropping Whatsapp (Wassam) and confirmed the album’s release date.
Gunna’s album release coincides with fellow Atlanta hitmaker Future’s new mixtape release. Future, the Freebandz boss, stirred up some controversy by swiping at an unnamed rival, which Gunna interpreted as a shot towards him. This has added an extra layer of intrigue to the upcoming album release.
Gunna’s involvement in RICO trial
Gunna, known for his hit ‘Drip Too Hard’, has been in the news recently due to allegations related to the ongoing YSL RICO case. Despite this, he remains confident about One of Wun, claiming it will top the Billboard charts. When asked if he could go No. 1 during an interview, he replied affirmatively, stating, “The album ‘One of Wun’ — it’s number one.”
Gunna’s last album ‘A Gift & a Curse’ was released in June 2023, debuting at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart with 85,000 album-equivalent units in its first week. With ‘One of Wun’, Gunna seems ready to surpass his previous success and reach new heights.
