Atlanta-based rapper Gunna is making waves with his bold prediction about his upcoming album, One Of Wun.

In a recent interaction with TMZ, the rapper expressed confidence that his next project will not only top the charts but also surpass his acclaimed 2023 album, A Gift & A Curse.

Gunna’s previous album had silenced critics and proved that the rapper could rise above controversy. The album, filled with infectious anthems and a defiant edge, peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Its platinum-certified single, ‘Fukumean,’ became one of the biggest rap hits of 2023. Last month, Gunna revealed the cover art for ‘One Of Wun,’ a striking painting by artist Calvin Clausell Jr.

The artwork features the rapper’s face obscured by a blue-and-white floral fabric, adding an air of mystery to the upcoming release.

While the release date remains under wraps, Gunna has already begun the album rollout with two singles. The first, Bittersweet, released in February, saw the rapper extending an olive branch to former collaborator Lil Baby. The second single, Prada Dem, released in mid-March, saw Gunna addressing allegations of being a snitch.

Gunna exempted from Young Thug’s RICO trial

Meanwhile, it was recently confirmed that Gunna, a key figure in the ongoing RICO trial involving Young Thug, will not testify.

Despite having previously accepted a plea deal that sparked controversy, the court has decided not to call Gunna, a Crips Gang member, to the stand.

This decision comes after the judge instructed the prosecution to reduce the number of witnesses they intended to question.
