Ghanaian Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale, is set to release a new Afrobeats tune in collaboration with Nigerian star, Tekno, in about 48 hours from today.
The song, scheduled to be released on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, according to the On God crooner, is a track off his upcoming ‘KONEKT’ album.
As expected, Shatta Movement fans around the world are already on edge to see what their ‘idol’ has up his sleeves on the track and ultimately on the entire album.
It is, however, not clear when the full album will be available, but it appears the single will attract all the buzz in the coming days.
Alhaji Tekno who dropped his More Than Better Album early in September, is yet to make a public statement on the collaboration.
Shatta Wale, born Nii Armah Mensah Jr, was recently adjudged Artiste of the Year at the Taabea Ghana Music Awards (UK), 2023.
He also won the Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year Award, beating stiff competition from Epixode and Stonebwoy.
Amid the recognition, he has been the talk of the town in the past few days after he settled on a new girlfriend known only as Maali.
He took to social media to celebrate his new love and also showered gifts on Maali who celebrated her birthday recently.
