Fans Endorse Justin Timberlake’s ‘Everything I Thought It Was’ Album

Justin Timberlake, as promised, has returned to the music scene with his sixth studio album, Everything I Thought It Was. The album touched down on Friday, March 15, 2024, after releasing a series of teasers.

The singer described the album as a “takeover” in a post on X (Twitter), with his fans welcoming him “officially” to the music scene. The compilation has also gained some positive reviews so far.

“I’ve been playing the album on repeat at work today, it’s so good; I can’t get enough of it! (Please come to Minnesota, I want to see you live,” one of his followers wrote.

The 8-track album has songs like Memphis, Fuckin’ Up the Dico, No Agels, Play, Infinity Sex, Love & War, Imagination, What Lovers Do, Selfish and others. It also features Afrobeats talent, Fireboy DML, on the song titled Liar.

Weeks ago, the singer and producer, teased fans with Drown off the album. Before this, there was another single called Selfish which mesmerised listeners online.

As of March 5, 2024, the video for Selfish, the first single off the album, had recorded 17 million YouTube views. Justin has been on tour since April 29, 2024, and has added new destinations to his itinerary on “The Forget Tomorrow World Tour.”

The trip made its first stop at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Seattle, Las Vegas, Phoenix, and other key cities, had been featured. The tour, which was initially scheduled to end on July 9, 2024, in Lexington, has now been extended to September 6, 2024, in Lyon, France.

 “The Forget Tomorrow World Tour” is Justin first trip in five years. Other cities on his travel list include” Los Angeles, CA; Atlanta, GA; Miami, FL; Chicago, IL; New York, NY; Boston, MA; and many others.

The 42-year-old has described the album as one of his “best works” had stated that the album originally had 100 songs before he managed to trim it down to 18.
