Legendary rapper Eminem is officially a grandfather as his daughter Hailie Jade has welcomed a baby boy.
Hailie, 29, the rappers only biological child, made the announcement on Instagram with the caption: “happy due date…3 weeks earthside little e”.

The child’s name, Elliot Marshall McClintock, and accompanying photos were displayed to confirm the news on Friday.
Eminem first shared the news that he was to become a grandfather in the video for his song Temporary in October, which was dedicated to his daughter and included audio of her as a baby.

The video included an emotional montage of moments from throughout their lives, including when Hailie presented the Mockingbird composer with a blue jumper with “Grandpa 1” on the back.
Hailie later confirmed her pregnancy with her husband Evan McClintock in an Instagram post, which read: “Mom & Dad est. 2025.” The couple, who had been dating since 2016, married in May 2024.

In January this year, Hailie showcased her growing baby bump in a series of touching photos.
One image captured Hailie standing by her Christmas tree, tenderly looking at her belly adorned with a bow. Another showed Evan sharing a sweet moment as he kissed her bump.

The post, which hinted at the life changes awaiting the couple in the coming year, drew love and well-wishes from fans and celebrities alike.
Hailie, who had previously revealed on her Just a Little Shady podcast that the baby would be a boy, did not disclose her due date at the time. However, the joyful anticipation surrounding the new addition to the family was palpable.

In December 2024, Eminem’s mother, Debbie Nelson, passed away at the age of 69 following a battle with lung cancer.
According to reports, she died on Monday night, December 2, in St. Joseph, Missouri. The rapper’s representative, Dennis Dennehy, confirmed the news.

Nelson’s terminal diagnosis became public in September, with reports indicating she did not have much time left.
Though their relationship was strained for many years, Eminem reportedly supported his mother financially throughout her illness. The rapper did not comment publicly on her mother’s passing at the time.
