Elsa Majimbo, 22, a model and influencer from Kenya claims that Naomi Campbell ruined her career following their fall-out.

In a since-deleted TikTok video, the young lady described how her friendship with Campbell changed after they got acquainted.

Majimbo revealed that she happened to meet Campbell in December 2020 while on an unplanned holiday. Naomi even posted an excerpt of their journey on YouTube in 2021 under the title “A Day in the Life with Elsa Majimbo.”

Elsa Majorimbo claimed that at one point in the trip, Naomi Campbell recommended that the two work together on a documentary centered on the Kenyan.

The influencer claimed that, after accepting the business proposal, she met several famous people in Hollywood. But went on to clarify that following the premiere of her documentary Elsa at the Tribeca Film Festival in March 2022, her relationship with the supermodel changed.

According to Majimbo, Campbell believed that she carried out the documentary idea without consulting her.

“I tried to explain to her that’s not what it’s about, no, no. Majimbo recalled that after that, she said, “I’ll sue you for the rights to this movie, and you know I will win.”

Following the controversy, Campbell cut ties with Majimbo, which is when the influencer said her career went “haywire.”

According to her, former editor-in-chief of British Vogue, Edward Enninful, allegedly indicated that the “trials and tribulations” she was going through in her career were the fault of her former mentor Campbell.

Majimbo stated, “I don’t want to be owned by someone else, and I want to acknowledge that many of the major setbacks and blows in my career came from another black woman rather than from my incompetence”.

Majimbo said that after she apologized to Naomi and the two made amends.

“So, no, she and I are not friends. We have no enemies. Nothing exists outside of us. We are merely strangers because of our natural association,” Elsa remarked.

Majimbo also stated in a series of tweets that she ended her relationship with Campbell because she transformed her into a “full-blown depressed and alcoholic.”

“I asked her to help me deal with some older white executives who were trying to have sex with me, and she threatened to sue and post screenshots of the incident.” Majimbo tweeted, “I’m moving on and putting it in the past now” the influencer concluded.
