Global music sensation Drake has debuted a brand new tattoo which he just inked on his face.

The Canadian rapper in a recent photo that surfaced over the weekend, showed off his latest addition to his tattoo collection.

The images, widely circulated on social media, unveiled intricate Arabic script positioned gracefully above the rapper’s right eyebrow.

As brought to light by Billboard, the unveiling occurred on Saturday, November 18th, through photographer Brent Kore’s Instagram Stories.

The snapshot perfectly captured the essence of Drake’s fresh facial artwork, revealing the word “miskeen” elegantly arching over his eye.

Meaning of ‘miskeen’

The term “miskeen” finds its roots in the vibrant Somali community that thrives in Drake’s hometown of Toronto.

Originating from the Arabic word “miskin,” this phrase carries profound meaning, translating to “misfortunate” or “poor.” The choice suggests Drake’s intent to honor and connect with the culture of his dynamic Toronto home.

The rapper, who recently made history on RIAA, seems to extend this versatility to his personal expressions, embracing the multiculturalism that defines his city.

In the coming weeks, it will be interesting to see how fans interpret and celebrate the significance of “miskeen” in Drake’s narrative.

As the chart-topping rapper continues to evolve both musically and personally, his ability to captivate audiences goes far beyond the beats and lyrics.

Drake announces tour dates

Meanwhile, Drake has announced the dates for his 2024 tour which would have American star act, J. Cole tagging along.

The much-anticipated tour dubbed “It’s All A Blur Tour – Big As The What?” is scheduled to start on January 18, 2024.

The run of shows presented by Cash App and Visa and produced by Live Nation will kick off with two gigs at Ball Arena in Denver.
