Multiple award-winning artiste, Drake, has allegedly reacted to news of J Cole apologizing to Kendrick Lamar.
In recent times, the God’s Plan crooner has been engulfed in a feud with the two artistes, and it appears he has teamed up with J Cole against Lamar.
Even though Cole hasn’t responded to Lamar’s Like That, he delivered a surprise album, Might Delete Later,’ which included a new song titled 7 Minute Drill aimed at Lamar’s discography skills.
However, in a change of heart, Cole took to the stage at Dreamville Fest on the night of Sunday, April 7, 2024, and apologized for the role he played in the beef. This made his fans livid, as they expressed their shock on social media.
His followers argued that the move goes against the age-old core tenets of a rap feud, and as such he has left his fans betrayed.
One person who was shocked by Cole’s decision was DJ Akademiks, who in an X rant, made it very clear his surprise at the latter’s move.
DJ Akademiks revealed that he sent the video of Cole apologizing, to Drake begging him not to do the same.
Akademiks sent Drake the video of J. Cole apologizing to Kendrick & asked him, “please don’t do no sh*t like this.”

As it turns out, Drake was offended that Ak would think such a thing. “I can’t believe you would say some sh*t like that to me, you must not know me,” the Canadian music artiste allegedly said.
To this end, it is clear that Drake has no plans to apologize, but whether or not he has a diss track coming, remains to be seen. The last time he put one out, he got hit with The Story Of Adidon.
Days after Future, Kendrick Lamar, Metro Boomin’ and Rick Ross dissed Drake on We Don’t Trust You, Drake responded, after it appeared he was doing his best to avoid getting entangled in the drama.
At a concert held not long ago, Drake decided to walk out on Future’s song, My Savages, and it surprised fans present, who saw it as a unique way of displaying pettiness.
Even though he deliberately refused to mention anyone by name, in the course of his presentation, he noted that “I got my head held high, my back straight, I’m ten f**king toes down…and I know no matter what there’s not another n*gga that could ever f*ck with me on this Earth.”
