Dr. Dee graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor’s degree in Early/Elementary education, a Master’s degree in Youth Development Leadership, and a Doctorate in Curriculum And Instruction.
Her enthusiasm, experience, and dedication demonstrate her appreciation of the need for representation in the educational field.
Her career change from public school teacher to entrepreneur came about as a result of her faith in her abilities to write, sing, dance, and teach children to read.
Her quest started when she bought a seatless school bus, which she converted into a mobile platform to use for her company,
Beyond Fit Kids and Tumba, as a means to promote her music, movement, and reading throughout the Carolinas.

Despite having to close during the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Taylor Dee changed course and started Taylor Dee Kids TV Media on YouTube.
Since then, the YouTube channel has grown to 5.1K subscribers, with over 70 videos uploaded and a substantial viewership.
Her creation of Wonder Academy, a preschool and school-age program that serves more than 100 children every day, is another testament to her commitment to early childhood education.
Furthermore, Dr. Taylor Dee has impacted over 100,000 pupils globally as a children’s book author and educator who has visited over 500 schools.
Her work involves more than just working directly with kids; she also uses customized ways to support organizations and educators in starting and expanding enterprises and organizations that serve young people.

She was most recently cast for the Charlotte Children’s Theatre’s main stage production for the 2024–2025 season.
