Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is mounting a vigorous legal fight after notes taken from his prison cell at the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in Brooklyn became a focal point in his ongoing legal troubles.

The materials, confiscated during a sweeping Bureau of Prisons operation on October 28, allegedly include sensitive information crucial to his defense strategy.

The raid, part of a weeklong initiative targeting contraband in federal facilities, aimed to remove illicit substances, weapons, and unauthorized devices.

However, during the search, authorities uncovered documents that prosecutors claim hold incriminating evidence against the music mogul.

Diddy’s legal team has filed an urgent request for an evidentiary hearing, asserting that the seizure of these notes violates his constitutional rights.

The defense alleges the materials include private communications with his attorneys, including defense strategies and details about potential witnesses. These documents, according to the defense, should have been off-limits under attorney-client privilege.

Despite prosecutors insisting the seized notes were screened by a special team before being handed to trial attorneys, Diddy’s camp remains deeply concerned.

His lawyers contend the government used these materials to oppose his bail request on November 15, blindsiding the defense team just before the midnight filing.

At the heart of the controversy is a claim that the notes revealed payments made to Kalenna Harper, allegedly to release a favorable statement amid legal issues involving another Dirty Money member, Dawn Richard.

The defense argues that these allegations, along with the government’s use of the notes, demonstrate overreach and a disregard for Diddy’s legal rights.

The mogul, facing charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation for prostitution spanning over a decade, has been entangled in legal troubles since his September 16 arrest.

Prosecutors have also accused him of continued misconduct behind bars, including using other inmates’ accounts for secret communications and employing encrypted apps to send messages.
