James Lloyd known by the stage name Lil’ Cease has finally spoken about the several lawsuits that have been brought against his longtime friend Diddy, alleging, among other things, sexual assault and misconduct.
The 46-year-old was interviewed briefly by TMZ on Monday, March 11, during his weekend attendance at The Biggie Experience in New York City. The Brooklyn rapper discussed his feelings regarding producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones’s recent $30 million sexual assault lawsuit.
“At the end of the day, a lot of things are accusations. We don’t know if it’s true or if it’s not. I’m not the one to say what’s true and what’s not,” Cease explained.
“But I hope everyone finds comfort and peace. And that’s how I see it.”
Diddy, on the other hand, has angrily refuted every allegation. According to statements posted online by his attorney, Shawn Holley, “Lil Rod is nothing more than a liar who filed a $30 million lawsuit shamelessly looking for an undeserved payday. His careless name-dropping about things that are purely made up and never happened is nothing more than a blatant attempt to make news.”
In addition to Jones’ claims, a lawsuit was filed in December by an unidentified woman alleging that Diddy, Harve Pierre, an executive at Bad Boy, and another man were involved in “a sex trafficking scheme that involved supplying [Jane Doe] with alcohol and transporting her by private jet to New York City, where she was gang-raped.”
Lil’ Cease revealed that he is working on a Junior M.A.F.I.A. documentary and writing his first book in addition to the Diddy accusations.
“I’m working on a memoir. There’s a documentary we’re working on, a M.A.F.I.A. documentary,” Cease said. “We’ve got to tell our story, our trials and tribulations, and our love for each other.”
