Undefeated boxing legend, Floyd Mayweather, has come to the defense of his friend and fellow mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is facing multiple lawsuits for sexual assault.
Mayweather, who was a guest on The Pivot Podcast with former NFL stars Channing Crowder, Fred Taylor and Ryan Clark, said he would not speak ill of Diddy, who he considers a “Black man” who makes “mistakes”.
“I’m not gonna speak bad about P. Diddy. Cause he still a Black man. Mistakes happen. And I can’t say if it is or not a mistake, but things happen in life. And P. Diddy’s business is P. Diddy’s business. It’s not my job or anybody else’s job to go on the internet and stomp him and kick a man while he’s down,” he said.
Floyd Mayweather, who has faced his own legal troubles in the past, including domestic violence charges, said he would not condone Diddy’s alleged actions, but he also would not judge him.
“My take on it is: it’s not my business. I don’t think it’s right at all, and I don’t condone it. Even if that happened to my daughter, I would be hurt but that’s a choice that my daughter made.”

The sexual assault allegations
Diddy, the founder of Bad Boy Records and one of the richest men in hip hop, has been accused of sexually assaulting several women since November of last year, all of which he has denied.
The most prominent accuser is his ex-girlfriend Cassie, who filed a lawsuit in December, claiming that Diddy subjected her to a pattern of sexual assault, physical abuse and sex trafficking during their 10-year relationship.
Cassie, who is a singer and model, said that the rapper forced her to have sex with him and other men, beat her, threatened her, and controlled her career and finances.
Diddy’s lawyer, Benjamin Brafman, called Cassie’s allegations “false and defamatory” and said that Diddy would “vigorously defend himself against these outrageous claims”.
Diddy is also facing lawsuits from two other women, who claim that he sexually assaulted them at his Miami home in 2018 and 2019, respectively.
Diddy denies allegations
Meanwhile, Diddy has vehemently denied the allegations that he and two other men sexually assaulted a 17-year-old girl in a New York studio in 2003.
In response, the rapper has also called the lawsuit filed against him “unconstitutional” and asked for its dismissal.
