With hours to the release of her new album, rumors circulating indicate that Beyoncé has released the track list for her Cowboy Carter album.
Beyoncé also reportedly teased potential features from Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, and Linda Martell, after confirming a week ago that the LP would have a “few surprises”, and that she collaborated with “some brilliant artists whom I deeply respect.”
The music artist added that Cowboy Carter isn’t a country album, but a “Beyoncé album.”
A few weeks ago, Dolly Parton hinted at the possibility of Beyoncé covering her hit record, Jolene. The country music icon added that she loves Beyoncé so much, as she is a beautiful girl and a great singer.
Four years ago, the 78-year-old icon shared a desire for Beyoncé to record her version of the song. The Houston native has already detailed the meaning behind Cowboy Carter, while she acknowledged the history she made with “Texas Hold ‘Em” as the first Black woman to top Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart.
In an earlier report, Beyoncé’s two new country songs continued to make history on the Billboard Hot 100, not long after they were released. Available reports show that “Texas Hold ’em” hit the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100.
This also implies she has achieved her ninth solo No.1 after a No. 2 song debuted a week ago. It also makes her the first Black woman to top the Hot 100 with a country song.
Together with 16 Carriages, Beyoncé veered into a new genre of music and broke some records with respect to Country chart placements. It doesn’t end there; her latest efforts are gradually building massive hype for her new album, ACT II phase which will be released on March 29, 2024.
