The couple began dating in 2019 and had been the subject of breakup rumors for some time. In 2022, when similar speculation circulated, Osaka denied the claims on Twitter, joking about how people often believe rumors without proof.
This news comes shortly after Cordae opened up about another split in his life—the disbandment of his YBN collective. Cordae had been part of the group, which started in 2014, but the collective ultimately dissolved in 2021.
In an interview, the rapper recently reflected on the group’s disbandment, noting that poor business decisions and a major argument led to the group’s downfall. Despite this, Cordae maintains a positive relationship with former members Nahmir and Jay, whom he thanked for their support.
As for the couple’s breakup, both have spoken fondly of one another recently. Osaka has previously praised Cordae’s parenting skills, calling him an “easygoing” and supportive father. Despite the end of their romantic relationship, their mutual respect and love for their daughter remain clear.
