Multiple award-winning American R&B star, Chris Brown, is set to release a chart-breaking song that features Nigerian Afrobeats star David Adedeji Adeleke OON, who is known in showbiz as ‘Davido‘.

The new song titled Sensation which also features Nigerian singer Lekan Osifeso, popularly known as ‘Lojay’is expected to be released on Friday, October 20, 2023.

Fans most likely would be ‘tempted’ to emulate part of the footwork and body moves displayed by The Don’t Wake Me Up singer as the new song is said to be a fusion of pop and Afrobeats.

Davido, who has been celebrating the arrival of his twins, wrote about the Sensation song on his X (formerly Twitter), saying: “This that one” as he gave a thumbs up to the new project.

“Grammy banger”, “Magnificent”, “Phenomenal”, and “Timeless,” are how some netizens have described the new song following the new ‘union’ of the two show-stopping performers.

Believing the new release would make the desired impact, some followers even likened Davido’s talent to that of Pop star, Micheal Jackson.

“Davido never fails to deliver…Who is Davido? he’s the best; he’s the blueprint, he’s the standard, he’s the leader, he’s their father,” a bubbly fan wrote.

This is not the first time Chris Brown and Davido have worked together. In 2019 Davido featured Brown on Blow My Mind which went viral with the video recording millions of views.

That same year, the superstars worked on the song Lower Body before releasing Shopping Spree in 2020.

The latest collaboration in 2023 is more a less a consolidation of the existing bond between the unstoppable music talents.

It can be recalled that congratulatory messages poured in for Nigerian Songwriter and Record Producer, Davido, when news about a new set of twins delivered by his wife, Chioma Rowland, trickled in.

The report came barely eleven months after the couple lost their first child, Ifeanyi Adeleke, reportedly in a swimming pool accident.

Local media suggests that Chioma and the twins “are in good health” after the delivery at a hospital in the United States of America.

Pictures online show Davido lying beside his wife on a hospital bed but did not capture the newborns.

The Assurance hitmaker is yet to make a public statement but the hashtag #CongratulationsObo continues to trend on X (formerly Twitter) as of Wednesday, October 11, 2023.
