Chris Brown and Live Nation are facing a bif legal challenge after four concertgoers filed a $50 million lawsuit, claiming they were brutally attacked by the singer and his associates following a performance.
The lawsuit, filed on Monday in Harris County, Texas, alleges that Larry Parker, Joseph Lewis, Charles Bush, and Da Marcus Powell were invited backstage after Brown’s concert at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth. According to the filing, the situation escalated when Brown and his team, including associates Sinko Ceej, Hood Boss, and Yella Beezy, reportedly engaged in a violent altercation with the fans.
The plaintiffs assert that Brown, 35, and his entourage threw chairs and physically assaulted them by kicking and stomping. The complaint details that the incident began when Brown’s team reminded him of a previous conflict with Bush. This confrontation allegedly prompted Brown to follow Bush into a hallway with several members of his clique, where the assault took place.
Parker is said to have been cornered in a staircase, where he endured a severe beating for approximately ten minutes. The lawsuit also highlights that all four men are currently receiving medical treatment and anticipate needing further care in the future.
Live Nation, the promoter of Brown’s “11:11” tour, is accused of failing to ensure the safety of attendees at the event. The plaintiffs are demanding not only financial compensation but also a temporary restraining order against Brown.
