A music video shoot for popular rapper Lil Baby turned into a scene of chaos and panic. The filming, which took place near a bustling commercial strip in Atlanta, was disrupted by a sudden outbreak of gunfire.
Lil Baby, who was present at the scene, fortunately escaped unscathed. However, three individuals were not as lucky. According to the Atlanta police, these men suffered gunshot wounds to the chest, arm, and neck. Despite the severity of their injuries, all three are expected to pull through.
The identities of the injured men have not been made public, and the police have confirmed that they were not part of Lil Baby’s production team. The motive behind the shooting remains unclear, and the police have yet to comment on potential suspects.
Lil Baby has remained silent about the incident and has not confirmed his presence at the scene of the shooting. This incident is particularly alarming as it comes less than a year after a shooting at a Lil Baby concert in Memphis, which left one man in critical condition.
The man, later identified as CEO Jizzle, a cousin of the late Young Dolph, was shot inside the FedEx Forum. Videos of Jizzle, hooked up to hospital machines with bloody bandages covering his chest and torso, surfaced online. In one of the videos, he urged people to pray for him and his opponents.
In a defiant message, Jizzle stated that no one would take him out and asked news outlets to stop posting about him, referring to his resilience in the face of adversity.
