Casandra Fine, formerly known as Cassie Ventura, has subtly clapped back at Kanye West’s recent remarks about her settled lawsuit against ex Sean “Diddy” Combs.
The R&B singer didn’t directly address Ye’s accusations but made her feelings clear by resharing a blunt message on Instagram Stories.
On March 18, Kanye unleashed a now-deleted tweet storm, claiming Cassie attempted to extort Diddy after filing a lawsuit in November 2023.

The suit alleged that Combs sexually abused her throughout their nearly decade-long relationship.
“HOW EVERY N**** YOU KNOW HIT A GIRL BEFORE BUT EVERYBODY SO MAD AT PUFF,” Kanye wrote. “SO CASSIE AINT EXTORT PUFF?” He added, “CASSIE CAME TO PUFF AND SAID GIMME 30 MILLION OR IMA RELEASE A TELL ALL BOOK THATS LOOK LIKE EXTORTION TO ME.”
Instead of engaging directly, Cassie reposted a Playboi Carti tweet captured by TheShadeRoom on March 19, featuring a photo of Carti and his succinct message: “YE STFU.” The repost spoke volumes about her stance on Kanye’s rant.
Cassie is currently expecting her third child with husband Alex Fine, shares daughters Frankie, 5, and Sunny, 3, with him.
Her lawsuit against Diddy was settled just one day after filing, though Combs denied the allegations of rape and abuse. The embattled mogul is now awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges and facing multiple lawsuits involving claims of sexual assault, harassment, and trafficking.

Meanwhile, Kanye’s comments intersected with another feud.
Playboi Carti’s “YE STFU” tweet followed Kanye’s frustration over being excluded from Carti’s album, despite their past collaboration.
The tension escalated when Kanye accused Carti of asking his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, to involve their daughter North West in a song.
Kim had recently shared lyrics from Carti’s track “Fine S**t,” which name-drops her SKIMS brand, prompting Kanye to demand North send him a song.
Carti’s response didn’t sit well with Ye, who fired back on X: “HEY NORTH YOUR DAD GAVE ME MY BIGGEST SONG AND CO SIGN AND I LEFT HIM OFF OF MY ALBUM BECAUSE OF HIS TWEETS.”
Kanye continued, “I HELD MY TONGUE ABOUT NOT BEING ON CARTI ALBUM. HIM GOING TO MY EX TO ASK MY DAUGHTER TO BE ON A SONG 2 DAYS LATER WAS TOO FAR NOBODY FINNA PLAY WITH ME.”
