Cardi B has officially ruled out reconciling with Offset, confirming their split is final. The rap superstar opened up during a candid discussion on X Spaces on Thursday (October 3), clarifying that she and the former Migos member are no longer working on their marriage.

Addressing her fans, Cardi shared that the couple, who have been in an on-again, off-again relationship, have broken up for good this time. While acknowledging the emotional difficulties of ending a marriage, particularly one that involves children, she made it known that she has no intention of going back to the relationship.

The mother of three admitted that navigating a divorce, especially with kids, is tough. She spoke about her children’s challenges in adjusting to their father’s absence in their daily lives. Although the rapper is firm in her decision to move on, she emphasized the importance of Offset remaining present in their children’s lives. Cardi wants her kids to continue having a relationship with their father, despite the separation.

As she reflected on the split, Cardi B explained that part of the decision stems from not wanting to fall into old patterns. She described their past relationship as a ‘trap’ and said she no longer wants to entertain the idea of getting back together, romantically or otherwise. She clarified that if Offset is at home, she will not be, symbolizing the gradual end of their shared life.

Cardi B and Offset accuse each other online

The announcement comes after a heated public exchange between the two earlier this year, where they threw accusations at each other.

Offset had accused Cardi of infidelity during her pregnancy with their third child, an allegation that Cardi did not deny. Despite the drama, Cardi has remained focused on keeping the co-parenting dynamic stable for their kids, even as she distances herself from the marriage.
