Rapper Cardi B has announced she is taking a break from dating and sexual activity to focus on completing her “mission,” likely the release of her highly anticipated sophomore album.
During a recent Instagram Live, the Bronx-born artist revealed that distractions stemming from her dating life have hindered her career progress. “Every single time I take d**k, I get distracted,” she confessed, emphasizing her need for undivided attention.

She explained that January is a critical month for her, as it will determine the trajectory of her entire year.
“I put a little pause on my dating life because January is very, very, very, very important, and I have a mission to complete. And if I don’t complete this mission, it’s gonna f**k up the schedule for this year,” she stated.

The 32-year-old rapper has been vocal about the pressures surrounding her music career, particularly the long-awaited follow-up to her Grammy-winning debut album, Invasion of Privacy, released in 2018.
Cardi B has previously addressed rumors that her numerous brand deals are a necessity due to dwindling finances, vehemently denying these claims. She revealed that she could easily secure a significant sum through touring but is prioritizing album completion.

Cardi B, who was previously married to fellow rapper Offset for seven years, announced her divorce and third pregnancy in an Instagram post on 1st August 2024 with the caption “With every ending comes a new beginning!”

She has stated that their relationship is over, and she doesn’t want to entertain any possibility of rekindling their romance despite Offset still trying to win her back.
