Afro Nation, the biggest Afrobeats festival in the world, has formally announced the dates for its Fifth Anniversary celebration, which will take place next summer with Tems and Burna Boy as headliners.

Motivated by and dedicated to culture, Afro Nation has been bringing the diaspora together since 2019 and honoring the diverse range of music, fashion, food, and dance styles with an expanding global network spanning over 160 nations.

Afro Nation Portugal, which takes place against the stunning beaches of Portimão, is coming back from July 9–11, 2025.

Pre-sale tickets go on sale on October 2. Afro Nation is a three-continent festival that offers a unique experience that keeps elevating and showcasing the best of African culture.

Afro Nation will celebrate its fifth anniversary in style next summer, elevating the unique festival experience yet again.

It has developed into a dynamic platform that pushes limits and transforms the live music scene while showcasing African music on a worldwide scale.

Not only is Afro Nation revolutionizing entertainment, but it’s also taking African culture to unprecedented heights.

Afro Nation Portugal 2024 captures the electrifying festival energy, vibrant culture, and unforgettable performances after its most historic year to date.

Notable performances included standout sets from Nicki Minaj, Asake, and Rema headlining the LIT Stage, and Amapiano icons Major League DJz, Uncle Waffles, and Musa Keys topping the piano bill.

Burna Boy’s upcoming headline performance at Afro Nation in Portugal promises to be yet another unforgettable event.

Burna Boy consistently puts on an incredible live show, which has led to him doing everything from playing on the Pyramid stage at Glastonbury to packing stadiums and having his album go to number one in the UK.

As part of his journey to become the dominant force in the globe, he flew the flag with Afro Nation in Ghana, Miami, and Detroit at the festival’s poignant post-pandemic return in 2022.

Conversely, Tems will also be making her stage debut in 2025 as the featured performer for Afro Nation Portugal.

This will be the next chapter in a story starting from the birth of the movement on the beach in 2019.

With more line-up news to follow, the ticket pre-sale starts on October 2 at 10 a.m. BST before the general on sale on October 3 at 10 a.m. BST.
