Black Panther 3 became highly anticipated when Denzel Washington mistakenly hinted at him featuring in the upcoming movie.

Just last week, another rumor about the upcoming franchise popped up online that stated that Marvel Studios was planning to cast another actor to take up the role of T’Challa.

The latest rumor might not be true because, as it turns out, Marvel Studios may be looking for a new actor to play T’Challa’s son in future movies

T’Challa’s son was introduced at the end of the Wakanda Forever movie in 2022 when Shuri (Letitia Wright) met her nephew, the son T’Challa had with Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o).

After the revelation, fans originally thought the boy would succeed his late father by taking up the mantle of Black Panther and possibly even ruling Wakanda as king.

Although Shuri, T’Challa’s sister, inherited the mantle of Black Panther in the sequel, after the introduction of T’Challa’s son, many fans believe Marvel would likely pass on the title to him in the future.

According to information shared by an industry scooper, My Time To Shine Hello, to her subscribers, it seems Marvel Studios is planning to bring the older version of T’Challa’s son into future Black Panther and Avengers movies.

This assumption was made in response to a previous rumor shared by Hollywood insider Jeff Sneider stating that Marvel is planning to recast the role of T’Challa, originally played by the late Chadwick Boseman.

In his newsletter, Sneider stated that with the concept of the multiverse now already introduced in the MCU, the studio might recast Boseman. He wrote,

“I heard that an actor was actually offered the role this past fall, a couple of months after Downey’s big reveal at Comic-Con, but they turned it down, not wanting to jeopardize their career momentum by stepping into Boseman’s gigantic shoes.”

He further stated that Ryan Coogler, who directed the first two Black Panther movies, will be an important part of the recasting procedure.

However, there is no official confirmation regarding this rumor yet.
