Billie Eilish Teases Songs On New Album At Coachella

American singer Billie Eilish was among the many guests who appeared on the Coachella stage during the first weekend of the music festival in California. 

She made the appearance days after announcing her new album, Hit Me Hard And Soft, which would premiere on May 17, 2024.

The What Was I Made For singer said she would not release any single ahead of the album launch but somehow gave her fans a gist of the compilation on the Coachella stage. Some songs on her new album include Lunch, L’Amour De Ma Vie, and Chihiro and others.

Billie Eilish, reportedly joined Lana Del Rey on the stage on Friday night to perform exciting singles like Ocean Eyes and Video Games, before doing a preview of songs on the new album on Saturday.

The 22-year-old singer-songwriter holds several awards and records in her relatively young career. She came to the limelight in 2015 with her debut single, Ocean Eyes, written and produced by her brother Finneas O’Connell.

In 2017, she released her debut extended play (EP), Don’t Smile at Me, which reportedly reached the top 15 of record charts in countries, including the US, UK, Canada, and Australia.

Her accolades include nine Grammy Awards, two American Music Awards, two Guinness World Records, three MTV Video Music Awards, three Brit Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, and others.

She is celebrated as the youngest artiste in Grammy history to win all four top categories, Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Best New Artistes, in the same year.

Her first studio album, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go, released in 2019, appeared on the US Billboard 200 and UK Albums Chart and was described as one of the year’s best-selling albums.

She wrote and performed What Was I Made For? for the fantasy film ‘Barbie’ (2023), which became her second number-one single in the UK and earned her a second Academy Award.
