The Recording Academy has unveiled the highly anticipated nominations for the 2025 Grammy Awards, spotlighting remarkable talent. Beyoncé, Kendrick Lamar, and André 3000 are among the artists leading the pack as the industry heads into the 67th annual ceremony, scheduled for February 2 at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena.

Beyoncé dominates the nominations with 11 nods, a record-breaking feat. Her album ‘Cowboy Carter’ has received widespread recognition across various genres, setting the stage for what could be a monumental night. With these latest nominations, Beyoncé is the most nominated artist in Grammy history, boasting 99 nods and surpassing her husband, JAY-Z.

Kendrick Lamar, another familiar name at the Grammys, continues to make waves. His powerful diss track, ‘Not Like Us,’ has garnered five nominations, including the coveted Song of the Year and Record of the Year categories. Lamar’s lyrical prowess and impact on the rap scene have solidified his standing as a top contender.

Future and Metro Boomin, Eminem, Cardi B, Kanye West, Ty Dolla $ign, J. Cole, and newcomers like Doechii all received nominations in the rap categories. Doechii, a first-time nominee, is in the running for Best Rap Album and Best New Artist, signaling a promising future.

Meanwhile, André 3000’s venture into spiritual jazz with his solo debut ‘New Blue Sun’ has made an unexpected splash. Nominated for Album of the Year, this marks André’s first appearance since OutKast’s historic win in 2004, highlighting his successful artistic evolution.

Notable nods across other genres include Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, and Sabrina Carpenter. The fiercely competitive Album of the Year category features names like Jacob Collier and Charli XCX, adding to the diversity of genres represented.
