Beyonce’s new album arrives this Friday, and fans can’t wait to get a feel of the project, having already had a good time with trendy single Texas Hold ‘Em.

The singer has revealed the tracklist for the album titled Cowboy Carter, which includes a cover of Dolly Parton’s heartbreak classic Jolene.

The project has previously released singles 16 Carriages and Texas Hold ’Em in addition to a guest appearance from country legend, Willie Nelson, on a song titled Smoke Hour.

Beyonce recently shared a vintage graphic of the tracklist on her social media with titles like Spaghetti, The Linda Martell Show, Bodyguard, Most Wanted, Just for Fun, Dolly P, and others featuring prominently.

It would be recalled that Dolly Parton was one of the personalities who commended Beyonce following the release of Texas Hold ‘Em early in February.

The queen of country music expressed excitement about the upcoming album, saying she was a huge fan of Beyonce. It is, therefore, not surprising that the Irreplaceable hitmaker decided to introduce a rendition of Dolly Partons’s recording on the album.

“I’m a big fan of Beyonce and very excited that she’s done a country album…Can’t wait to hear the full album!” Dolly Parton wrote on her social media in February.

Following the release of Texas Hold ‘Em, Beyonce became the first Black woman to top Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart. The song also reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and also reached the top spot on Spotify Global.

According to figures put out by Spotify Data, the song had spent its second day at the number one spot on the streaming platform with 6.52 million streams as of February 25, 2024.

That notwithstanding, the official visualizer for the song also saw an impressive jump, with 9.2 million views on YouTube in barely two weeks after the single went public. The figures indicate how widely listeners accepted the tune, which is described as an ode to the pop superstar’s home state.
