ASAP Rocky Trial: Was Rihanna Bringing RZA And Riot To Court A Sympathetic Strategy? – Social Media Speculates

Rihanna took children, RZA and Riot to court to support their dad, ASAP Rocky in a gun trial that has been on for some time now.

Some people have started asking if Rihanna’s bringing the boys along was a way to get the jurors to sympathize with ASAP Rocky.

Rihanna has appeared in court several times to support her boyfriend, whom she has been dating since 2020.

On Thursday Rihanna brought her and A$AP Rocky’s two sons along with her to court for the beginning of the rapper’s gun assault trial closing arguments.

The Love on the Brain singer arrived at a criminal courthouse in Los Angeles with an unidentified woman in a black truck while holding RZA with the woman holding Riot.

The two women were shielded from the rain by the security men holding umbrellas over their heads before they all walked into the courtroom.

This trial is a result of A$AP Rocky being charged in August 2022 for allegedly pulling a gun in November 2021 and shooting at his former friend A$AP Relli, whose real name is Terell Ephron.

During the trial, Relli testified that A$AP, also 36, confronted him outside a parking garage, and the rapper pulled a gun from his waistband, put it toward his stomach, and allegedly said, “I’ll kill you right now.”

Relli also claimed A$AP turned around and shot at him, with the bullet allegedly grazing his left hand.

A$AP Relli also said he had to wait to go to a New York hospital days later to seek medical treatment for his injured knuckles.

A$AP Rocky has, however, denied the claims and declined to take the stand to testify in his trial.

For some social media users, Rihanna taking her boys to the court was a strategy.
