Netflix has added a ton of black movies and TV series, both old and new this month that you will undoubtedly find yourself binge-watching without hesitation.

Shirley, starring Regina King, is one movie that promises to be thrilling. The actress plays political rights activist Shirley Chisholm who made history in 1968 by becoming the first black woman elected to the US Congress and the first black contender to seek the nomination of a major party for president in 1972.

Whether you enjoy reality series like Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta and The Circle or cult sitcoms like Martin and The Jamie Foxx Show for their belly-laugh-inducing humor, Netflix has added new and vintage programming that will ensure a large audience this month.
