Kanye West ended his interview with Piers Morgan just minutes after it started, following a heated exchange on Piers Morgan Uncensored on YouTube.
West, now known as Ye, appeared on the show with content creator Sneako. The tension began early when Morgan introduced him using his old full name.
Ye interrupted and said he no longer goes by that name, calling it a part of his past that he rejects.

The argument escalated when Morgan brought up the number of followers Ye has on X. Ye became visibly angry and accused Morgan and the media of downplaying his influence.
He said his music has been present at important moments in people’s lives, but claimed the media still chooses to ignore his impact.
Shortly after, Ye stood up and walked out of the interview. He accused Morgan of disrespect and said he no longer wanted to continue the conversation.
Morgan later posted about the incident on X. He mocked Ye’s behavior and said the interview ended the way he expected. He also posted a photo taken just before Ye left the set.
This interview is the latest in a string of controversial moments for Ye. In recent months, he has made disturbing public statements.

These include remarks that many have called antisemitic and comments showing admiration for hateful symbols and figures. His social media activity has drawn widespread backlash.
In a recent post, Ye shared a personal story about his childhood. The post mentioned a family member who is now in prison and described a troubling incident from when they were both children.
