Convicted scammer Anna Delvey made a striking appearance at the One Night in Bangkok fashion showcase during New York Fashion Week on Tuesday night.

Wearing an ankle monitor, she walked the runway four times; each appearance met with cheers from the crowd, culminating in louder applause during the finale.

The showcase featured Thai brands Matter Makers, Merge, Vickteerut, and Vinn Patararin, each presenting small collections. Delvey, 34, modeled designs for all four, appearing third for Matter Makers and closing the show for the other three designers.

“We’ve always focused on streetwear and loved working in New York. The models here are so cool,” the Matter Makers design team said in a statement.

Delvey’s presence at Fashion Week wasn’t limited to this one show. Earlier in the week, she was spotted front row at Christian Cowan alongside singers Sam Smith and Kesha, and just days before, she had walked the runway for Elena Velez.

This isn’t Delvey’s first entrée into the fashion world since her release. In September 2023, while under house arrest, she hosted a fashion show on the roof of her New York City apartment building for the Shao fashion label. She has been a regular at Fashion Week events since then, even walking in Shao’s show this past September.

Delvey, the one-time Dancing With The Stars contestant, whose real name is Anna Sorokin, was arrested in California in 2017 following accusations of fraud, including a $62,000 theft from her former friend, Rachel DeLoache Williams.

In 2019, she was convicted of attempted grand larceny, larceny in the second degree, and theft of services, receiving a sentence of 4 to 12 years. However, she served two years and was released on parole in 2021.

Following her release, she was detained by ICE for overstaying her visa, placed on house arrest, and required to wear a GPS ankle monitor while appealing a deportation order to Germany. Her story was the subject of the 2022 Netflix miniseries ‘Inventing Anna.’
