Halle Berry may be aging but says she is not bothered even if her beauty fades because there is more she has to offer than her physical appearance.
The actress, 58, remained confident about her personality when she spoke to popular magazine Marie Claire early this week.
“I’ve always known that I’ve been more than this face and more than this body…So when that starts to go, maybe for the first time in my life, people will focus on the other aspects of me that I think are way more interesting,” the mother of two was quoted saying.
The award-winning actress has, over the years, been ranked as one of the most attractive on-screen personalities since she made her acting debut in the 90s. She has appeared in productions like Boomerang, X-Men, Monster’s Ball, and others and is noted for her radiant outlook and smile.
“It might feel good to have everybody look at you, but it’s always been a hollow win for me because I had nothing to do with how I came here looking,” she told the publication.

“I do have everything to do with the kind of mother that I am, the kind of partner that I’ve been, the movies that I’ve been a part of, the acting accolades I’ve garnered over the years, and my charity work.
“I do take ownership over those things that I’ve worked really hard at, and if somebody finds value in those things that lights me up,” she added.
In August, the movie icon attracted tonnes of backlash from the online fashion police when she posted a new photo. That was after she stepped out in Los Angeles for the premiere of her new spy movie called The Union.
However, her choice of outfit did not appeal to some of her fans, though some thought she still had her physical appearance intact.
In addition to her beautiful hairstyle, she wore a black long-sleeve dress that was made of mesh and lace material, which generated mixed reactions afterward. Some fans expressed their disapproval at the older woman exposing parts of her body.
Others were indifferent about Berry attempting to show sensitive parts of her body but felt the dress she chose should have been won by a younger woman.
