It’s possible that Beyoncé’s Super Bowl commercial and the release of her two new songs didn’t completely blow up the internet.

Queen B might however just end up breaking country music because her latest songs may lean more toward the said genre than any other.

Beyonce’s Texas Hold ‘Em, which will be the lead single from her upcoming album Renaissance: Act II, will be played on country radio on Tuesday, February 20, with assistance from Columbia Nashville.

Since Daddy Lessons, many have been clamoring for more country music from the singer, so it’s no surprise that the beehives are excited.

There is a ton of amazing country music out there, and we hope to see some names in Act II when it finally drops on March 29.

Here’s a list of country musicians Beyoncé may work with for her new project or may consider working with in the future should her step into Country music yield the required results.

Darius Rucker

There’s no doubt that Beyoncé and the legendary Darius Rucker would make a groundbreaking country music team. Celebrated for his heartfelt storytelling and rich baritone, Rucker has been an unstoppable force in the country music industry for more than ten years.

Ever since he became the first black artiste to win the CMA’s New Artiste Award, he has kept putting out classic songs.

We are definitely manifesting this collaboration, even though we are unsure if it will ever happen. Whether it’s a ballad or an upbeat anthem, it would undoubtedly undo a significant development in the history of music.

Kane Brown

I Can Feel It was how we felt when we considered Kane Brown and Beyonce working together. Over the years, the Nashville singer-songwriter has collaborated with a number of artistes, including Black Bear, Chris Young, Lauren Alaina, Swae Lee, Khalid, and H.E.R.

With songs like Heaven, What Ifs, and Thank God, he has crafted some of the biggest country hits to date. It would be something unique that fans would talk about for years to come—Queen Bey and Kane Brown working together.

Brittney Spencer

Brittney Spencer shot to fame in 2020 when her rendition of The Highwomen’s Crowded Tables went viral. She first released her debut EP, Compassion, in 2020. One of her biggest songs, Sober & Skinny, was released in 2021.

On January 19, 2024, she subsequently released her debut album, My Stupid Life. Despite her small discography, Spencer is a capable vocalist, contrary to what some may think of her as a greenhorn. She and Beyoncé would undoubtedly create a memorable country song if given the chance.

Luke Combs

Beyoncé and Luke Combs together would be amazing. It might be the new country song we’ve all been waiting for, thanks to their combined stage presence, country sounds, and fan bases.

To date, Combs has put out four studio albums, with the most recent of them being Gettin’ Old. His well-received rendition of Tracy Chapman’s Fast Car appears on the album.

The War and Treaty

The War and Treaty are a fantastic duo and one of the most intriguing groups in country music at the moment. In 2018, the couple made their debut with Healing Tide. The wife is a lifelong singer who was on the verge of stardom in the 1990s, and the husband is an Iraq War veteran who learned of the healing power of music while penning songs for his fallen comrades.

They have since put out two more albums, with the critically acclaimed Lover’s Game (2023) receiving a Grammy nomination for Best New Artiste in 2024. It goes without saying that if given the chance, this couple and Beyoncé would collaborate on ground-breaking country music.
