A$AP Rocky has revealed the moment he believes Rihanna first fell in love with him, long before they officially became a couple.

In a recent cover story for W Magazine, the Harlem rapper shared details of their early connection, which dates back to 2012. Rihanna herself photographed the cover, adding a personal touch to the piece.

Rocky, 35, recalled how their chemistry was ignited when the superstar singer agreed to appear in his Fashion Killa music video. The video, shot by the late Virgil Abloh, featured the pair playing on-screen lovers.

While speaking from his Manhattan apartment, A$AP Rocky pointed to a sofa and said, ‘This is very special because this is the first place she fell in love with me.’ He explained that the couch featured in the video’s opening scene is a memory he holds dear.

The rapper also shared an early encounter with Rihanna that left a lasting impression. He recounted a night at a nightclub where he had difficulty getting in due to his rising fame. Rihanna, not yet romantically linked with Rocky, stepped in and defended him. She challenged the bouncers, ensuring Rocky gained access to the venue. This moment, A$AP Rocky said, helped cement their bond.

While their romantic relationship didn’t blossom immediately, the rapper noted that he and Rihanna ‘reconnected’ years later in 2019 or 2020. However, the couple did not go public with their relationship until 2021. Since then, the two have welcomed two children, sons RZA in 2022 and Riot in 2023.

A$AP Rocky also opened up about how he knew Rihanna was the one for him. He mentioned that their connection was evident even in their younger years, and it only felt natural that they eventually ended up together. Reflecting on their life now, Rocky praised their ability to balance their chaotic schedules and emphasized their shared understanding.
