The acclaimed rapper from Compton, Kendrick Lamar, has released a scathing diss track titled Euphoria, targeting his longtime rival, Drake. The track, released unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 30, has set the rap world ablaze.

The song begins with a calm, dreamy intro, in which Kendrick refers to a certain ‘master manipulator’ who is ‘paranoid,’ ‘spiraling,’ and ‘fabricating stories.’

However, the song quickly shifts gears with a sudden beat switch. Kendrick Lamar then throws a barrage of jabs and haymakers at Drake.

He criticizes everything from Drake’s parenting skills, the alleged use of ghostwriters, rumored plastic surgery, appearance, tough guy persona, and attitude towards women.

Kendrick, a Pulitzer Prize winner, also accuses Drake of attempting to have Like That, his chart-topping collaboration with Metro Boomin that reignited their feud, taken down by sending a cease and desist letter.

Throughout the song, Kendrick Lamar makes several hard-hitting statements and accusations against Drake. He criticizes Drake’s attitude towards Pharrell, challenges him to a friendly fade, and even questions Drake’s authenticity and toughness.

Kendrick also expresses his dislike for Drake’s behavior, stating that he hates the way Drake walks, talks, dresses, and sneak disses.

He also criticizes Drake’s relationships, stating that the women Drake is involved with confuse themselves with real women.

Towards the end of the song, Kendrick Lamar questions Drake’s authenticity once again, asking how many more fairytale stories about Drake’s life and how many more Black features until Drake finally feels that he’s Black enough.

In a final show of defiance, Kendrick warns Drake and his team not to underestimate him, stating that he’s allergic to lame behavior and doesn’t care about who Drake hangs out with.
