Nicki Minaj, the “Big Foot” rapper, and Big Sean reunited on stage during her Pink Friday 2 Tour stop in Detroit.
The Motor City was buzzing with excitement as Nicki invited Detroit’s beloved Big Sean to perform their hit 2011 collaboration, which originally featured on Big Sean’s album, Finally Famous.
However, the tour was not without its challenges. Just days earlier, Nicki faced some issues with her Pink Friday 2 Tour. The Young Money rapper was nearly three hours late for her concert in Montreal due to a series of flight delays.
Nicki Minaj attributed these delays to a sabotage attempt, which she believed was linked to authorities looking for her husband, Kenneth Petty. Petty had only been granted permission to travel internationally the day before.
Despite these hurdles, Nicki Minaj managed to enter Canada, thanks to the intervention of her old friend, Drake. The renowned rapper made a few calls on Nicki’s behalf, ensuring her smooth entry into the country. Drake was even spotted in the audience at Nicki’s show in Toronto that same night, receiving a shout-out from the Pink Friday 2 star herself.
Nicki took to social media to share her experiences with her fans. She detailed the unusual circumstances that led to her flight being shut down just two minutes before midnight. She also shared her frustration with the subsequent delays and the seemingly endless refueling process.
Nicki Minaj went on to accuse these delays of being part of a conspiracy to hinder her tour. She claimed that upon her arrival in Canada, she was subjected to an unusually thorough search. Despite these setbacks, Nicki remained undeterred. She expressed her belief in a higher power and her determination to continue with her show.
