Rapper 50 Cent has publicly distanced himself from vodka brand Cîroc, amidst swirling rumors that he was set to replace Diddy as the brand’s ambassador.
The speculation was put to rest when 50 Cent clarified that he had no interest in forming a business alliance with Cîroc.
He revealed this in an Instagram post on April 3, 2024, stating his preference for owning his brands over being an ambassador for others. He also observed that the popularity of Cîroc seemed to wane.
“I Own my brands I wouldn’t be an ambassador for Ciroc, 👀I haven’t seen anybody drinking that sh*t lately it’s over. LOL,” he said.
Before this clarification, 50 Cent had hinted at a possible partnership with Cîroc. He shared a screenshot of an article linking him to the company accompanied by a positive and motivational message. This led many to believe that a collaboration was on the horizon.
However, a report from TMZ later indicated that Cîroc had no plans to team up with 50 Cent. This news came after Diageo, the parent company of Cîroc, severed ties with Diddy following a contentious lawsuit and allegations of sexual assault against the founder of Bad Boy Records.
50 Cent, whose own alcohol brand is named Sire Spirits after his youngest son, seems to be focusing on his ventures.
Diddy and Ciroc’s relationship
Meanwhile, Diddy ended his longstanding relationship with Cîroc in January after previously suing the company for racial discrimination.
Diddy filed a lawsuit against Diageo North America, the company that distributes Cîroc vodka and DeLeon tequila. The lawsuit alleged that Diageo neglected the brands by failing to sufficiently invest in them.

Meanwhile, 50 Cent has responded to the recent revelation that his former partner, Daphne Joy, had been named in a lawsuit filed against Sean Combs, better known as Diddy.
The lawsuit, filed by producer Lil Rod, accused Diddy of sexual harassment, a claim that the music mogul has vehemently denied.
